3D Quilling: Stan the Cow

One of my elder sisters used to have an incredibly huge cow collection. After taking up most of her house, she did a massive clean out, and now- no more cows. So, Stan the Cow is for her- a tiny reminder of how cute cows can be!

The hardest part, believe it or not, was making the tiny little horns. Being so fiddly and small, they would either fall apart, or look too big and bulky for his head. His ears were made with a simple teardrop shape, and again, I've used a little bit of fringing for the tail.

Liking the finished off look of the 'hoofs' I tried out with
Gary the Giraffe, I did the same with Stan.

Stan the Cow stands at a tiny 2.5cm tall (1in). His body is made with the classic 6mm strip, while his eyes, snout and legs are made with 3mm strips.

Stan is Cow is pretty adorable! I could have him and his whole family on my cabinet without them taking up too much room. Love your work!
