Facebook Monster Mascots

To help celebrate the launching of the new Kurlikins Facebook page, I went a little mad making Monster Mascots.
Monster Madness
Each monster mascot brings a new (or old) 3D Quilling technique to life in a different way.

Fug: (5cm/2in) Required a lot of snipping for the fringing, to make his hairy body- much like how Chewbacca was made. I also tried a new way in which to make a fun quilled monster mouth.
Mog: (4cm/1.6in) Making an opened mouth monster was a new and exciting challenge. The 'Beehive' technique was also used for the first time to make his beard.
Snik: (5cm/2in) Explored the 'new' mouth technique a little further, making it a little more tighter than 'Fug's'.
Ojo: (4cm/1.6in) Was straight forward in terms of 3D Quilling.
Pulpus: (4.5cm/1.8in) Is covered in the same curls that were used to make Sheepy Shazza.
Drizzak: (4.5cm/1.8in) Is made from basic 3D Quilling shapes also, but I changed it up a little to make his cute under bite.

The Monster Mascots were made using a variety of sized strips, depending on what was needed for each detail. Generally, the bodies are made using 6mm strips.

Come over and help my Monster Mascots celebrate on the Kurlikins Facebook page.
